clackamas, oregon, just outside portland. the shooter killing two people before eventually turning the gun on himself. abc's brandi hitt has the latest. in the bay area. serious accident northern part of our state near the oregon border,ish-5 shutdown due to a major accident 60 vehicles involved north of yreka in the hornbrook rest area if are traveling north on 5 you won't get through. southbound has traffic controls, one lane getting by. closer to home, golden gate bridge, no delays, no cars coming by, roadwork on the northern end of the span. highway 9 in the santa cruz mountains "sig alert" with wires down at main street. >>> just to give you more on that breaking news, that i-5 closure in northern california creating huge headache. big rig slapped into the concrete median north of yreka near hornbrook 6:30 last night that triggered a chain reaction pile-that up stretched more than two miles, 16 injured, seven taken to the hospital. people stuck in that closure are being bused to a shelter in reading an hour and a half to the south. tow trucks lined the freeway to haul away cars. this morning that area remains under a winter weather advisory. sue will be keeping you posted. >>> happening now, developing news from oakland, firef

reopen in oregon this morning. two people were killed when 22-year-old jacob roberts opened fire in the food court of the clackamas town center on tuesday. a 15-year-old girl was also seriously wounded. roberts, then, of course, took his own life. a candlelight vigil for the victims is set for tonight. >>> and people across san diego woke up to an unusual deluge. several inches of rain making a real mess out of the morning commute. >> the downpours flooded businesses, as well as major intersections, leaving drivers stranded in the road. some people even had to be rescued from those floodwaters. >>> and just north of san diego, all that rain loosened a giant boulder. look at that thing. it tumbled down a hillside and punched a gaping hole through someone's garage. the huge rock crushed everything from christmas ornaments to tools. the homeowner was shaken up but thankful she wasn't in the garage when that boulder hit. >> they have falling rock insurance. >>> time, now, for the weather from across the nation. showers from san diego up to seattle. heavy rain in las vegas, phoenix and a
